Robinson Studio & Design Photographs a PBR Cowboy and his Cowgirl in Wilmer, AL!

We had the great pleasure of photographing Jonathan and Rachel in Wilmer, AL yesterday. The only thing that could have made this engagement photo session any better is if we had more time to shoot! We had so much fun.
Jonathan rides the Professional Bull Riders Rodeo Circuit and Rachel rides as well. They were so cool to work with and we were able to capture some amazing shots! Here's a just a few. If you would like to see more, message us and we'll give you access to see all of them!

As Mobile, AL Wedding Photographers it was really cool to get to photograph a couple like this. Congratulations Jonathan and Rachel. We are so thrilled to be a part of this special time in your life!

Robinson Studio & Design Photographs Christy & Ryne's Magnolia Manor Wedding

Congratulations Christy & Ryne! We really enjoyed being a part of your wedding day. It was such a gorgeous Fall day. The Magnolia Manor (www.magnoliamanor.org) was the perfect location!

First, we have to admit, we are not the world's best bloggers! LOL! We stay so busy with sessions, consults, weddings, editing, website maintenance and the Robinson Studio & Design Facebok page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Robinson-Studio-Design/62756505254), that we have let the blog slide! We're going to try and do better...we promise!

So, I thought I'd put up an image of Christy & Ryne from today's wedding!

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful! Here's a list of the awesome vendors they used as well:
Location: Magnolia Manor - www.magnoliamanor.org Caterer- Tyner's Catering - www.tynerscatering.com
Cake- Cakes by Judi -
www.cakesbyjudi.com
Florist-
Belle Bouquet - www.bellebouquet.com
DJ- Party People Entertainment - www.partypeoplemobile.com

Congratulations again Christy & Ryne. As wedding photographers in Mobile, AL, we can say it doesn't get much better than the wonderful lineup of vendors you selected, the perfect weather, and of course having a beautiful couple to photograph!

Wedding of A Lifetime Bridal Show This Sunday!

This Sunday, January 11th from 12-5:30pm at the Mobile Convention Center, we will be participating in the Weddings of A Lifetime Bridal Show.

We will be offering a special incentive to all brides attending if they book the day of the show! If you have any plans of getting your date locked in soon, then Sunday will be the day to do it. It's amazing, but we are already halfway booked for all of 2009 and we are only 8 days into the New Year!

Also, we will be announcing something incredibly unique that we plan to offer couples who aren't even engaged yet! So if you're coming to the show because you know your boyfriend plans to pop the question soon, then be sure to ask us what we've been working on! And guys, earn a few extra points and give us a call to find out more as well. Next week after the show, we'll post details on the blog too.

Can't wait to see everyone there!

Confessions of a Photographer Who Can't Blog...

OK, so it's a New Year, time for new resolutions, right? I feel like my New Year's resolution should be "I'm going to be a better blogger". But I can't bring myself to make the commitment!

I love blogs, I really do. Promise. But it's so hard for me to get myself to blog when there are so many other things to be done as well.

I read on another photographer's blog that an "unkept" blog means one of two things: you have nothing going on, or you have so much going on you can't see straight! Thankfully, we fit into the latter category :)

Either way, I really want to do better at keeping everyone up to date with everything that's going on with Robinson Studio & Design, Bill and I, and our family.

For instance, the new studio looks phenomenal! Here's an image of our lobby:

The Lord has been so faithful to us! We are very excited about all He is doing and the tremendous growth our business saw in '08 and that is now continuing in '09.
