It's us. We are the latest victims of Blogger-Picasa-Google Plus which means all of our pictures on our blog are gone! So if you're here for the first time or you're returning to see some of your favorite images, we're so sorry!
It turns out this is a pretty widespread issue. Clients of Blogger.com, like us, were pretty upset to find out that their pictures are not recoverable.
So this is what happened... Blogger.com is a part of Google..which means it's also a part of Google Plus. When you post images on your blog, Blogger holds them on a site called Picasa. When you get a Google Plus Invite, and go and create your page, eventually you will see a folder of your images show up in your photo gallery. For us, it was a file of over 400 images. So we knew we didn't put them there, and we had no desire to keep them on our new Google Plus page. So we deleted it. Two days later we went to our blog and saw that all of our images were missing. We still had no idea why, and assumed it was a Blogger.com issue or glitch that would remedy itself. Unfortunately, no.
So, that file that magically appeared in our Google Plus picture folder was actually the Picasa file of all our images that Blogger placed there when we uploaded them to our blog. Blogger had no additional copies of our images. So deleting the Google Plus folder, that we didn't place there or want there, permanently deleted them from our blog as well. Confused yet? Us too!
We have all of the images on our hard drive, and of course backed up in two other locations as well. But the process of going through years of images, remembering each image that was used for each blog post, resizing them all again, and re-uploading would be extremely time consuming. So we've decided to lay this blog to rest. This will be our last post on this blog and we will be creating a brand new & improved blog very soon!
Until we meet again in the land of blogging, be sure to keep up with us in one of the ways

A June Wedding Filled with Sweet Southern Charm at Dorgan's Inn!
On June 30th Brad and Emily said "I Do" at Dorgan's Inn in Point Clear, AL.
In our opinion, this is a wedding venue with one of the most breathtaking views of
Mobile Bay you could ask for. No wonder people travel for hundreds of miles to take in this little piece of Heaven...
Emily is from Corinth, Mississippi, which is near the Tennessee State Line. But distance was no issue. Brad & Emily said they knew that Dorgan's Inn was the place for their big day the moment they stepped onto the property. And what really sold them was when one of their favorite things came into view: a hammock.
One of their favorite things to do is relax in a hammock together. And they knew this was a picture that they must have taken on their wedding day :)
And of course we are so glad they chose us to be the ones to capture the images for them. Who wouldn't love to photograph a perfect June wedding on beautiful Mobile Bay?!
Beautiful live oak trees with the spanish moss swaying to a light breeze...
Sandy Beaches and Gorgeous Views...
and sunsets that will give you the chills, even on a hot Saturday in June...
Not only were we able to to take all of this in, but this wedding was also accessorized by some of the most divine southern details you can imagine...
Sweet Tea & Pink Lemonade
The Couple's Favorite Candies & Homemade Fudge
and you can't leave out our good 'ole southern boys in uniform!
And for our southern belles, beautiful flowers from Belle Bouquet in Saraland, AL
Belle Bouquet always does a fantastic job and so do the other amazing vendors Emily & Brad chose, like...
Cakes by Judi, with an owner who is arguably the sweetest lady on the Gulf Coast.
Mrs. Judi's cake was a crowd pleaser as always :)
And the extremely talented ladies of Agape Special Events are the fabulous wedding planners who helped them tie all of these fabulous details together to create a truly southern June wedding on beautiful Mobile Bay.
But to finish it off in true Southern Style, like a cherry on top,
the couple departed in this 1929 Mercedes!
Congratulations Emily & Brad!

The Bride Whose Wedding We Missed!
When Kathryn contacted us to photograph her wedding we were already booked. Usually that would be the end of the story, we would refer her on to another photographer and wish her the best.
But Kathryn Gray was different. She told us "If you can't photograph my wedding, then I need to hire you to photograph something! Can I please book a bridal session with you?"
Our response: "Absolutely!"
When we started planning her session, it was clear immediately what kind of bridal session Kathryn needed. One completely unique that would reflect her personally. Two fantastic ideas emerged instantly: The Ballet Studio and The Airport Runway & Hangar. Kathryn had been taking ballet since she was a little girl. She is also the Assistant to the Director of Aviation at the airport. But how could we choose between two fabulous locations? We couldn't, so we did both!
Here, we will highlight some of her fabulous images from the airport. At the end of this article you will find a link to see images from the ballet studio......
We may have missed Kathryn's wedding, but we are so thrilled we were able to photograph her bridal session! She was a dream to work with. As you can tell by the images, she was a natural with the camera. We're sure her wedding photographer will have many amazing images of her as well.

Wedding of a Lifetime Bridal Show 2011, Mobile AL- Mobile, AL Wedding Photographers
We had a wonderful time at the bridal show yesterday! We met some great brides-to-be and we can't wait to see which ones become new clients!
We decided to go a new direction for our booth this year. Our previous booth was great and we really enjoyed it, but after four shows, we wanted to do something fresh. I'll post a picture of our previous booth at the end so you can see what it was like :)
When trying to decide on how we would design our new booth space, the two words that kept coming to mind were Romance and Luxury. I think we were able to capture both in our new space....

When trying to decide on how we would design our new booth space, the two words that kept coming to mind were Romance and Luxury. I think we were able to capture both in our new space....
Loving our new white sheepskin rug...you could melt into it! It's now at home in our studio space :)
And of course we had to highlight the new Grace Ormonde book "being in love never goes out of style". And our 2011 Platinum List sign is sitting on the mantle :)
The chandelier was a must to pull off the romantic and luxurious look we were going for. We searched and searched until we found the perfect one :)
Brides to be were offered some of our favorite chocolates from our treasure chest :)
Godiva Dark Chocolate Strawberry Truffles, Milk Chocolate Lindt Lindors, and Toblerones, yum!
We also offered cappuccinos and hot chocolate using our fabulous Keurig, and glass bottle VOSS artesian water from Norway. We love to pamper our guests!
Let us know what you think, feel free to leave comments below, also become a fan on our
facebook page where you can comment as well!
And as mentioned, here is our former booth that we dearly loved but was laid to rest....
Thanks so much for everyone's love, support, and prayers! We have wonderful clients and friends :)

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in Temecula, California: Fabulous Couple, Gorgeous Dress, and a Setting to Die For!
On November 27th, Meredith and Dustin said "I Do" at one of the most beautiful places we have ever had the honor to photograph.
South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is located in beautiful Temecula, California. South Coast has been voted "California State Winery of the Year" for the past two consecutive years. And it's easy to see why after staying there, tucked away in a villa in the middle of one of their gorgeous vineyards,
for three days.
The weather couldn't have been more perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a better couple to work with. Meredith & Dustin treated us like family, we just love these guys to pieces :)
Here are some images to highlight their big day!
Congratulations Meredith & Dustin!
